Carbon Steel - Plain Steel

Carbon steel, also popularly known as stainless steel, is a relatively inexpensive material option that is adaptable enough for many applications. Plain steel wire mesh is robust and strong, but is vulnerale to rust and will not resist corrosion. This material is only avaiable in 100 mesh or less. While it is still a very strong and low cost option, it provides moderate resistance to heat.
